Sweet Haven Lavender Farm
The lavender Picnic Flyer and Social Media idea came from a lavender field back home. I visited the field and they offered picnics to partake in while you were there to enjoy the experience. I loved this idea because of the aesthetics and lavender as a plant. The flyer and the social media posts took time to find the right picture to match the aesthetic of the event. The flyer needed to draw people's attention and to be filled with information for people to follow up with. The design is used in a flyer billboard and then the social media posts are shown in an instagram form.

Blue Ridge Bagel Stationary
Blue Ridge Bagels is a local brunch location in Lynchburg, Virginia. I chose this business because the logo needed to be revamped and updated. I struggled to make the logo look like a bagel and not a donut. It was also difficult to tie in the title and make it represent the company. The Blue Ridge Mountains drawing with the pen tool, in the logo, was a great way to get the image pulled into the brand. The curve line tool was used to make the title within the circle as well as the "est." and the year. The ruler and the alignment was used to line up the text and the information in the head letter.

Nassau Travel Brochure
Nassau was chosen for the brochure because I was able to go to Nassau and other locations in The Bahamas with my family for my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary. I was able to find a landscape picture to attach to the bottom of the inside brochure. This created unity with the slides. The pictures in the middle panel took a lot of time and effort to get them aligned and measured to be the same size. I did the same thing with the texts in the brochure. This was done with the ruler tool. The color for the brochure was picked from the front photo by using the eye dropper.
